OVERVIEW
Our Campus Police Division has a staff of over 121 state-certified, professional law enforcement officers. Each has been graduated from an accredited police academy.
The Right Training
Each officer attends regular in-service training as well. Training modules include certification in C.P.R. and the use of Automated External Defibrillators. Officers also receive sensitivity training to sharpen the skills needed to work within our diverse campus community.
The Right Technology
In our communications center, we use the latest computer-based audio visual technology to effectively deploy personnel. Our state-of-the-art communications are integrated with the Philadelphia Police 911 system for coordination with other local law enforcement.
The Right Service
We maintain a strong visual presence on each Temple campus, traveling by cruiser, by bicycle, and on foot to help ensure the safety and security of everyone at the university. See the map below for our station locations on Temple University’s main campus.
