CAMPUS SAFETY SERVICES PROGRAMS

RAD (Rape-Aggression Defense) is a program of realistic self-defense
techniques for women-only. The course begins with tactics to improve
awareness and risk reduction, then it progresses to basic hands-on
defense training. For more information, or a private abbreviated
self-defense course, contact Special Services Coordinator Donna Gray at
215-204-5870 or donna.gray@temple.edu.
The Temple HapKido Club introduces students, faculty, administration, staff and alumni to the Korean art of HapKido. Literally translated, HapKido means "coordination, power, and the way." It is the art of coordinated power. HapKido is an excellent form of exercise and expression, while teaching self-defense techniques. The Club meets Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm.-7pm. in Pearson Hall, Room 101. There is a minimal fee and continuous enrollment.
